1. Incomplete and misleading information about car categories, 2. Slow customer service response, and 3. Data privacy breach In details: 1. Booked and made a down payment for a Mercedes SUV on the booking site. Few days before to go to the pick up counter, I specifically asked customer service if the car I will receive will be a Mercedes, and was told they cannot guarantee it but could also be a Range Rover or a Jeep Cherokee. Any of those would have been fine. At the counter I was proposed a Nissan. A Nissan was never mentioned neither on the site or the email. I refused to take the Nissan because that completely changed my travel plans and immediately asked for a refund by email (as instructed by the CarWiz representative at the counter) and was denied. 2. My message was to customer service describing the case and asking for refund, received a reply 4 days later just to say they will look into the case. For this type of issues, one should be able to get a reply in a reasonable delay and possibly within the day. 3. One of the reasons mentioned by CarFlexi customer service why they refuse a refund is because apparently I had a double booking with another company. This means that my customer data was discussed/shared with another rental company showing lack of customer data privacy. This is a serious breach of data privacy.
