Vision center

2

I am a veteran and went to my local center to order a pair of glasses. I was just there yesterday and didn't have a mask on. I have a document medical reason that I can't wear one. Anyways I went in and was stopped by ginger burnes vision center manager. She told me I was not allowed in the store without a mask. It was health department mandate. I tried to explain why without having to go into my personal medical records why I don't wear a mask. She said she didn't care and for me to come back after the mandate is lifted. I tried to tell her the county mandate states if you have a medical reason you don't have to wear a mask. And by the way I am a industrial hygienist and licensed by health and human services and have been for the last 30 yrs. So I think I do know what the guidelines say. Its is even posted on the front door to the store. She then advised me the the vision center was not part of walmart and she sets the rules for her store. This was the rudest and most unprofessional person I have ever encountered. So is the vision center part of walmart or not and does walmart condone this type of customer service?
