I received a letter from TOYOTA, Palestine, TX, stating details of an offer to purchase a new RAV4 and the trade-in value of my 2016 RAV4. Going to the dealership on July 28th I was told "we have never seen a litter like this". Now that is odd because the letter is said to be from Jason Lansford, Internet Sale Manager, for TOYOTA Palestine. Another comment made was "we should be good about October as far as inventory". I realize car inventories for all brands is slim now, but was made to feel as if I had somehow created the letter myself. Needless to say, we left without going further in our search. No offer was to locate a 2021 RAV4 or advise when another came into the dealership. So we'll be keeping our 2016 RAV4 with 43,500 miles. Thanks you
