Since no one has contacted me by phone or email about this issue I will now be posting it as well 1st reservation information Kayak # 380******** Apr 14 2021 Hawthorn Suites by Wyndham Tinton Falls Tinton Falls, NJ $426.42 Wed, Apr 14 - Sat, Apr 17 Room Description Free WiFi, My first confirmation number from the first room that I stayed in room 611 where I had all of my issues and major problems unfortunately First reservation information Kayak# 380******** Apr 14 2021 Hawthorn Suites by Wyndham Tinton Falls Tinton Falls, NJ $426.42 Wed, Apr 14 - Sat, Apr 17 Room Description Free WiFi, 2nd reservation information done through Hawthorn Suites Website instead of going through kayak after all the problems I had with the first room that I had that kayak couldnt fix nor the hotel. 4/17/21-4/19/21 Confirmation #86200EC036500 Room Description Free WiFi, $456.21 I was not here on business or leisure I was here to do a emergency and I had to stay here with myself and my eight-year-old son I am a single mother who is struggling terribly I lost my job due to Covid and my son also needs to be homeschooled/virtual school every day due to his school being closed because of Covid I picked this place because of their reviews and the fact that there was Wi-Fi because that was a necessity because my son not only needs to be in virtual school every day which requires Wi-Fi my son Is also an IEP/child study team/classified in needs extra help in school the room that I stayed in was 611. I was there from Wednesday 4/13/21 8am till Saturday 4/17/21 in the late afternoon around or after 3pm. I spent $426.42 on a hotel room for me in my eight-year-old son for an emergency which I put on a credit card because I am a single mother struggling terribly financially due to Covid and this aversion see that we had that we had to come to a hotel in the first place I spend $426.42 on a hotel room that does not have Wi-Fi before I book the room I contacted the provider that I used online as well as called the main office to make sure that they have working Wi-Fi and then when I got there I asked again and I was told yes again there is Wi-Fi then immediately when we got to the hotel and checked in and got into our room Wednesday, April 13 at 8 AM we needed to get the Wi-Fi set up to login to my sons virtual homeschooling classes the Wi-Fi did not work at all whatsoever not on phones not on laptops not on tablets not on TVs not on anything immediately I contacted the main office they said they were on able to help me when it came to Wi-Fi problems that theres nothing they could do on their end after many phone calls to the main office as well as to many calls to corporate and walks over to the main office also I have a broken ankle I have two torn ligaments and one torn tendon and an injury that I got last Friday, April 9, 2021 I cannot walk I cannot stand I am in excruciating pain and Im getting surgery next week so I had to go back-and-forth from my room to the main office on crutches with my eight-year-old son to try and get the Wi-Fi fixed the Wi-Fi did not get fixed in the main office was not able to help me I had an emergency which is why me and my son had to stay at this hotel and again I picked it Because of the Wi-Fi and it was closest to me and have the best reviews I maxed out my credit card in order to stay here for an emergency that happened so I maxed out credit cards to stay in hotel for $426.24 that had Wi-Fi but it did NOT work AT ALL and I could not use it The Wi-Fi literally did not work AT ALL whatsoever it did not work on a laptop to even Google something or look at a webpage it did not work on my phone or my sons phone it did not work on a tablet it did not work on a smart TV or fire stick the Wi-Fi did not work at all so on For $426.24 waisted Because I ended upbecause I ended up having to spend $314.50 on 2 hotspots. On Wednesday April 15 2021 my first day here I had to go to Verizon and purchase a hotspot with 30 GB for $213.24 + A monthly fee. (which I have the receipt for I have the receipt for everything I had to purchase) because my sons school is virtual all on a laptop which obviously you need Wi-Fi for. I even attempted to have him do school on an iPhone but the Wi-Fi would not work at all in room 611 for anything for a phone for a laptop or a tablet and nothing that although the main office was very nice they were unable to fix the Wi-Fi or make it work building six is the farthest building from the main office Im assuming thats where their routers and Internet equipment is and of course the room I was in 611 was the only one room they had open so I maxed out my credit cards after an emergency to stay at this hotel chose it because of the reviews and the Wi-Fi and then I had to go and Get with a broken ankle torn ligaments and crutches go to Verizon and spent $213.24 on a hotspot (I have receipts and serial numbers) after spending the last of my money on this hotel to stay here with me and my son because I had an emergency the hotspot from Verizon that was $213.24 had 30 GB because it was a hotspot and not real Wi-Fi the 30 GB was gone Thursday 4/15/21 so then again I had no Wi-Fi from the WIfi from hotel that had Wi-Fi that just didnt work I paid for a room and a hotel that had Wi-Fi that did not work and so now at this point Thursday no hotspot left on $213.24 Verizon hotspot Called jet pack bought from Verizon nor Wi-Fi from the hotel because it would not work in my room whatsoever on any device so on Thursday, April 15, 2021 I had to then go buy another hotspot Because my son needs to be virtual homeschooled everyday He cannot miss a day ofhe cannot miss a day of school and he cannot miss one class he is also in the child study team and classified IEP So Im Thursday, April 15 I hadso Im Thursday, April 15 I had to go buy another hotspot when I could barely walk or stand from Best Buy for $101.29 It was a simple mobile hotspot from Best Buy which I also have the receipt and all documentation for I have receipts documentation device information serial numbers on both devices so on Thursday with a broken ankle torn ligaments and tendons in a huge cast crutches excruciating pain I then had to find away fast to get another hotspot because my son cannot miss any school and could not be marked absent and because there was no Wi-Fi in room 611 at all whatsoever I then had to get a second hotspot because The Verizon hotspot that was $213.24 only had 30 GB which was gone in two days because A hotspot with only 30 GB the Wi-Fi which I shouldve had in my hotel because I got a hotel with Wi-Fi then had to go to Best Buy on Thursday the 15th and buy another hotspot so I spent $213.24 on the Verizon hotspot then I had to spend $101.29 on the Best Buy hotspot thats $314.50 on Wi-Fi hotspots that I never shouldve had to of bought and I never shouldve had to of spent the last of the money that I had on hotspots after having a major emergency that me and my son had to stay in a hotel for to begin with a hotel that I was a shored had Wi-Fi a hotel that had good reviews a hotel that I called the main office and corporate to confirm that they had Wi-Fi in that it worked and then when I get here it doesnt I am now in a different room because of the emergency that I had I had to extend my stay. It had to be moved to a different room and of course of more expensive room because thats all they had available so I spend on another room $456.21 end it that room is room number 524. And $426.42 on the original first room 611 with no Wi-Fi at all whatsoever so from the first room for $426.42 on the room + Verizon hotspot $213.24 plus best buy hotspot $101.29. Thats $740.95 for the first room I stayed in room 611 conformation # 380******** so a hotel booking that shouldve only costed $426.42 turned into $740.95 for Wi-Fi that was supposed to be provided and working and did not show me being here on an emergency maxing out credit cards to have a safe place for me and my son to stay out with Wi-Fi does not happen I end up spending $740.95 to stay here and have the Wi-Fi. I had to extend my stay but after using kayak and having to spend $740.95 I went through the hotels main website since kayak was not able to help me nor the mail office. So I had move to another room the only one that was available was the most expensive one but because I am staying in a hotel with my son due to huge emergency I had no choice but to take the only room they had available that confirmation #86200EC036500 Done though Hawthorn Suites website another room / stay so I also spent $456.21. I wanted to go through kayak but there was no way I was going to go through kayak when they were unable to help me guaranteed me a room with Wi-Fi and I ended up spending $740.95 total instead of just paying kayak amount of $426.42 from Wednesday to Saturday. So my first room room 611 where I stayed Wednesday to Saturday ended up costing me $740.95 total when it shouldve only costed me $426.42. But because of the Wi-Fi an extra $314.50. I called corporate last night and kayak and main off begging for some sort of refund or a comped room because this I am going to need to extend the room The room I am in now check out is tomorrow I need to stay till Wednesday the 21st but Im afraid to book through kayak and Im so upset the kayak did not help me in my situation at all. Im here now however my check out is tomorrow Monday 4/19 and I need to stay Will Wednesday 4/21 2 mores days right now I am in room 524 ( this is 2nd reservation information done through Hawthorn Suites Website) 4/17/21-4/19/21 Confirmation #86200EC036500 $456.21 ) I need to extend this room that I am in by two days so instead of leaving Monday the 19th I need to leave Wednesday the 21st. I would love to use kayak and extend and or get a new reservation for the two extra days that I need to stay in the room that I am in the room 524 and extended two days till Wednesday the 21st since my reservation through the actual hotel company Hawthorne ends tomorrow the 19th. I am really hoping and praying that someone reaches out to me ASAP at my phone number 732-900-**** and is able to help me in someway refund somebody or the two days that I need to add extra which is just gonna cost me more money after I have wasted so much money on hotspots to extend the room I am in two more days is going to literally take every last dollar out of my wallet being a single mother I wouldve had extra money in my wallet but due to have to just spend $340.50 on Wi-Fi that money is now gone Im really hoping that somehow I could get money back or something reversed or something comped like a night comped or two nights comped or something any to help something to be done I have never had such complications with a hotel or website like kayak let alone being here because of emergency being severely injured where I cannot walk and have a good child that needs Wi-Fi in order to access and go to school because its virtual.
