Unresolved customer service problem after more than 6 months

Based in NZ and have a faulty electric blanket - Sunbeam not resolved issue after numerous emails. Constant contact with customer service who fail to get in touch by return. Often referred to another customer service rep. who starts the process again with a new reference case - like groundhog day! It's now 6 months and still not resolved. User's recommendation: Cannot recommend as still issue is not resolved - company is shockingly poor at customer service.
