Unreliable service; terrible customer support

Avoid this company!!Had Altice for about 3 months. I had so many complaints from friends who couldn't hear me, and found that 50% of the time I couldn't make calls when traveling in CT and RI, so I decided to switch back to verizon wireless. It was almost impossible to get a person to help me make the switch, so I did it in the wrong order. Finally got phone service back after a week of porting struggles. Now Altice is charging me for an extra month when I didn't use the carrier for any calls. Collections has re-activated my closed account to try to pressure me to pay. When I contact altice on chat, they can't find a record of any service. I have wasted hours trying to deal with this company! I still don't know if they are charging me for continued service. User's recommendation: Avoid this company!! Bad coverage, bad billing practices!
