Unislamic practices, very deceptive!

In regards to their Islamic Finance department...Devon Bank is deceptive to say the least. We were strung on with false assurances for over 3 months. I was told 10% down is what the bank would require for the second note. No problem! Bank fully aware of all the terms we were willing to do before we even applied. Got a preapproval and was told to bring them a signed contract and we can proceed. All was fine until I had reached an agreement with the seller. Contract ready! When I asked for loan estimate and disclosures is when everything got hard. Loan officer kept saying he will give it to me once he gets a signed contract. I advised him of my right under Truth in Lending Act and to please provide so I can make an informed decision. That's when my pre approval turned into a "not official preapproval". It is my sincere belief that those disclosures were withheld in order to lure me into signing a contract so they can raise rates and I would have no other choice to accept their terms. I have proof such as emails and voice recordings. I am relieved I have enough sense to never sign a contract without all the proper disclosures. Consumers beware!!Dishonest and Unislamic.
