Unhappy with a product but is forced to pay for it

Good day my name is Shireen Pillay cell -[protected] acc.no [protected] i purchased i pair earing on the 7th May 2021 and put on the following day Saturday 8th may 2021. i had it on for half an hour and the earing had come of. i found it and put it back in the box because i was not going to pay for a product that i would not have. this is my 3rd pay. my first pair was bought around the year 2000. i had it for about 10 years no issues but this one i was really disappointed with so i took it back within 24 hours. i did read the back of the receipt and the top line says return jewelry with 14 days if there are other policies regarding jewelry it is not included in that line.. i was asked to go to the store to demonstrate how the earing fell and had an accident costing thousands in damage which is a result of a pair of earings. i just wanted to return a product that i was not happy with and was spoken very rudely to by the area manager. i felt like i was accused of being a lier which i do not do. i am a loyal Truworths customer for almost 30 years and to get treated this badly is really sad. i will close my account after being treated in this manner. i have kept my account in good standing which you can all see. VERY UNHAPPY
