Unbelievably bad

I was going out of town and wanted plenty of available credit on my credit card so a week before my trip I went into a branch and paid off the balance of my card with cash. I assumed paying at a branch with cash would result in having available funds sooner but I did this a full week before the trip just to be sure. I also checked my account on my laptop before leaving town and it showed my deposit and my available balance reflected that the deposit had cleared. I ended up needing the card to get home and was declined at the gas station. Called Synovus and explained everything and was told the funds take 10 business days to go thru. I told her it was cash made at the bank and there was no indication that the funds had not yet cleared when viewing the account on my laptop. I was then told as a courtesy they could allow access to the funds if I email them the receipt of my deposit. I didn't have it and I was at a gas station 800 miles from home. Then she said she could allow it if I emailed it when I got back to town. I told her I was closing my account when I got home and if she wanted the receipt she could walk her happy *** down the hallway because it was made with Synovus.
