Unable to reach you for the refund

To Customer Service Greetings , On March 9, 2021, I booked through OPODO two flight tickets from Tel Aviv - via Frankfurt - to Denver and back with Lufthansa , to April 10-21, 2021, for Dudelzak Zvi and Dudelzak Yvette , and I paid 1,864.60 Euro , including Cancelation and Medical Assistance Insurance ( Policy number: 702505**** ) . Opodo booking reference : 702505**** Airline booking reference : NZOBKJ. On 9.04.2021, a day before the flight date, we received the Boarding passes. When we arrived at Ben Gurion Airport, on Saturday 10.04.21 at 02.00 in the morning, we were not allowed to board our flight LH691 to Frankfurt , Because it was not possible to fly to the USA via Europe . Due to Saturday and night time, there was no Lufthansa representative at the airport and it was not possible to get their customer service and that of OPODO on the phone. It was also impossible to make any changes to the flights on the Opodo website on our booking. We had to return home at 04.00 with great sorrow and confusion . Because of our flight dates set for an important family event held on 11.04.21 in the evening, and since at 07.00 in the morning I was able to get Lufthansa's customer service in Israel by phone, who told me to contact OPODO to change flight times and not Lufthansa, I decided to book a new flight through your website , with the United Airlines directly to the USA , for that evening . Opodo booking reference : 707469**** Airline booking reference : PWHGM4, Tel- Aviv- Newark- Denver on 10/04/21 at 23:25 ( UA 91). Denver- S/Francisco- Tel Aviv on 23/04/21 at 15:56 ( UA 238 ) . For the new order I paid through the website an additional 1,369.93 Euro . At that time I received an email that the flight from Frankfurt to Denver, on my first booking, had been canceled and I could make changes to it. Since I was not allowed to fly to Frankfurt and I had already booked new flights and paid for them, the message became irrelevant to me . Since we were not given the option to fly to Denver as scheduled according to the first booking with Lufthansa- NZOBKJ , and we had to re-pay for the second booking with United (PWHGM4 ) and since I did flight cancellation insurance (702505****), we ask for a refund for the first booking that did not exist .
