Unable to Join

I have tried at least a dozen times to become a member including yesterday's 30% off offer. I enter all of the information and then I see the white circle turning around. I have waited as long as ten minutes but nothing ever happens and the circle keeps turning. I tried to call customer service but the phone number is a deep, dark secret. The numbers on the website are not The Daily Beast. I'm about to quit since I have spent entirely too much time cumulatively. HELP PLEASE.
