Tutor Charges not refunded

January 13, 2021 - Tutoroo took payment from my student for 4 x 1.5hr classes for first 2 weeks without confirming with me that I was available for 2 classes per week x 1.5hrs. I told them for January, I was only available for 1 x 1.5 hrs per week. January 13, 2021 - I messaged the Support Team to let them know I was not available for 2 x 1.5 hrs per week at that time. I could only offer the student 1 x 1.5hrs per week. I told them they should check with the Tutor before booking classes and times. I asked them to refund the student half of what they charged him. Jan 18, 2021 - No reply from Support Team so messaged again. Jan 19, 2021 - Support Team replied and told me to discuss the lessons with the student later that day (1st class), and let them know what was decided so they could adjust the payment. Jan 20, 2021 - Tutoroo confirmed with both me and my student in the group chat that we had only time to schedule 1.5hrs x 2 weeks. The dates and times for the lessons were confirmed with Tutoroo. I thought they would take care of the refund, so I was embarrassed when my student brought it up again on Feb 16 that he had not had any news from Tutoroo at all. Feb 16, 2021 - Messaged the Support Team again about the student's refund, and as of today, Feb 24, have had no reply. Although I will also ask the student to lodge a complaint, I felt impelled to do so today on behalf of my student who trusted Tutoroo and because I advertise there and he got me as a tutor through them, I feel bad that the company has not taken care of him.
