I was sent a five dollar rewards coupon, in my Old Navy credit card statement. It had an expiration date, so I attempted to redeem it in advance of that expiration. After wasting the better part of an hour on hold I was finally informed that it was not actually a credit card rewards statement, but rather, a $5 give-back purchase-incentivizing scheme. User's recommendation: Do not fall for Old Navy schemes - if you like something they have, purchase it, i’ll beyond that, just ignore whatever they’re saying.
