Traveling from China to New York via Frankfurt

I am uncertain whether I need to renew the Covid antigen test inside Frankfurt FRA airport during stopover on my way from China to New York. Is the within-three-days-before-departure regulation enough if I had been tested in time before departure from China or do I need to redo the test at Frankfurt airport? Asking for flight UA961 on August 04. Thank you in advance!
