Update by user Jan 03, 2012 As of 1/3/2012 Angel Cruz has made no efforts in completing the job. We were forced to hire other companies to finish the job. This has resulted in huge loss of money. Original review posted by user Nov 28, 2011 I contracted the company named Fixer Upper owned by Angel Cruz in Pembroke Pines FL to do multiple jobs on my property I had just purchased. Angel Cruz requested 50% of the total job upfront, and I paid him the amount he requested. He agreed the rest would be due when the project was done. Although, after a few weeks he asked for more money being that he did not have enough money to pay his crew ,and his personal bills. I agreed under the condition that he agreed to complete a portion of the project. After we gave Angel Cruz more money , a few days later he said he did not want to finish the work, and would refer the rest of the work to another company. We were furious being that we had already paid home for ¾ of the job, and he had only completed 50% of the work, and we did not know this new company he was passing us down to. In addition, this new company never contacted us, and Angel Cruz from Fixer Upper never completed the work. We were then left with insufficient cash to finish the project. In addition, he did work to the home that required a license which he did not have. I would like to forewarn any homeowners that the company Fixer upper in Pembroke Pines, FL is dishonest , unreliable, and solicits work that requires a license which they do not have.
