Too Late

3/4/18 1:30pm. Had a flight scheduled. Got to the airport early (LAX.) Can't talk to a rep only the baggage people. Called CCare and asked if there was a seat available on the earlier flight. I told them I had luggage to check in and time is getting close. They said no problem. Told them again the above. By the time they were done and charged me for the change, I walked right up to the baggage check in. They said it was too late. I just hung up the phone with CCare how can it be too late? Baggage people said 40 minutes etc. Too late. I called the CustCare back, told them and asked for my old flight back. Too late. Seat already gone. Flight is booked. Well what now I'm thinking. When is the next flight I asked? Let me see if I can get you on the next flight they said. Better not charge me again I mumbled. Just frustrating getting home much later due to what I would call their screw up. Can't go anywhere with luggage at LAX. Stores, restaurants all inside terminal. One little Starrbucks at bagage claim, while you wait. Can't check luggage in until 4 hours before flight. I kept asking if it was too late. I would not have tried and they should have said it was TOO LATE. There were no apologies or any going out of their way to correct the mistake. Nothing, other than I got on a later flight.
