Told many different lies about my order

ordered Electronic Air Cleaner for a job, when the pick up date came I started calling where this air cleaner was at. first they claimed they had no record of the order. Then when I got into the office I produced their order confirmation. At that time I was told 4 times, 4 different calls , 2 different days, to their customer service, that it was in route to their store for my pick up, and could pick it up the next day. Still no air cleaner, then customer service was going to check on it and phone me back. I told them I would stay off the job and wait for their call by the phone. This happened twice with two different people. Neither one ever called me back at all. So I called their vendor and learned that Grainger never sent the order to the manufacture for any shipment at all. And that their system of order is not dependable and the vendor has told them they must summit orders manually and receive a conformation. Due to near 100 orders last year that were never sent to this vendor. So they are not about fixing anything that is wrong at all ! So I called again to see what they would tell me now.. Now the story was "back ordered" do to COVID-19, also not true, because the vendor told me they just ordered it yesterday and that there had been no lead time last month, but now there is. These people are not about solving anything just professional apologists and it seems very proud to lie to you and just go on to the next call.. It is time all of us take our business elsewhere, and if you can't pick it up and carry it with you. Certainly don't order it from W.W. Grainger !!!!
