Our boys were overdosed during a routine treatment by their vet, and they left me a voice mail telling me about how they had to revive them .this has happened more than once words cant say how that made us and my young kids feel. We started taking our boys 2 banfield when we rescued them ,they were 7wks 8wks old . Things were great when chief of staff Andrea Tate was at the Clarksville tn location she was the vet who always treated our boys no problems ever took place with DR Tate everything was great. As soon as we'd tell our boys we were going to go to pet smart, or we were taking them to see Dr Tate they would beat us to the car they were so happy about seeing Dr Tate they go see her before they'd want to get their treats, toys, treats, etc. she left when our boys were a few years old and it's been a nightmare since. Since Dr Tate left, my boys have been overdosed and had to be brought back, our boys are so terrified to go there they're scared to even go for a ride. When we do get to pet smart our boys r shaking, crying, they will even growl and show aggressive behavior to try to not be forced into the store because what the other vets put them through. They have to be carried in or put in a shopping cart to get them into the store to get to its causing more trauma to our boys. Its taken 30 mins or longer to get them out of the car and our boys r about 75Lbs each I'm disabled it's hard on all of us. I've been dragged from the store back to the car amp;; I was on the ground being dragged by my boys. I wouldn't let go of leashes I was afraid they would get hit by a car. Nobody helped me from the staff they watched this happen. The many changes of all the staff it has become an ongoing issue. Both our boys have had organ test come back not normal, yet they didn't tell us I found out by looking at the print out after the visit 2yrs later no answers about it. Our boys have developed multiple lumps and we had to pay for the same test on the same lump 3times we get charged higher amounts than we should. Little or No discounts. Then we just found out they don't give all the shots we pay for in the wellness plan unless u ask for those shots. What the *** is that it's been 7yrs that they haven't given them all the shots that they should have been given. We've paid thousands and have almost lost our boys during routine treatment due to pure neglect by the vet staff (except for Dr Tate she never did anything to cause harm or death to our boys or any other pet) our boys need the care they deserve and the crappie services that we paid for should be reimbursed in full including the cost of the wellness plan since they didn't provide services we pay for, discounts, etc I have neighbors who lost their dog within 48 hrs of being in the care of this location as well. There's more i can say that they have done wrong but I'm getting to mad to continue. User's recommendation: STAY AWAY FROM BANFIELD & ITS SISTER COMPANIES IF U LOVE UR PET AND DONT WANT TO GET RIPPED OFF.
