They just don’t care anymore

I could write a very long list of the issues I've had recently. Unfortunately, it really wouldn't be worth my time to write it, nor your time to read it, because Schnucks won't do anything about it. I've pointed out rotting produce to produce managers, moldy restrooms to the service counter, pricing issues to the store manager, and issues with the Schuncks Rewards program to the customer service hotline. My take away from all of these interactions has been that Schnucks no longer cares. No action is ever taken, no apologies ever made--and good luck ever getting a call back when you leave a message with the customer service hotline. They are not the friendly, local, family market they used to be. Add to this their recent labor relations issues, skyrocketing prices following the Shop 'n Save buyout, unclean and unkept stores, and an overall sour attitude from store employees. I have to wonder why people keep going back for more. Dierbergs has always had the upper hand in customer service and quality. But now they are starting to get the upper hand on price as well. I see no reason that I shouldn't continue going to Dierbergs from now on, and tell Schnucks to shove off.
