They are trying To scam me !

I have been a Retro Fitness member for over 5 years. When covid-19 started the gym Locked for over 8 months. Then suddenly they start churching my credit card for the month they were close. On top of it I got charge for yearly Member ship for the amount of ( over $42 ) Even tho more then half of the year they were closed. October 2020. I called to find out why am I getting charge for The month the gym was close. ( Costumer service reply multiple times ) "THERE WAS A GLITCH IN THE SYSTEM, I'm not the only one that got charged. the manager on top of it, they assure me I'll get refunded shortly" I never got the refund in the next 2 weeks I called at list 2, 3 times A week asking To talk to the manager. Every time they too my information to pass to the manager. but the manager never bother to call back. In the End of November the last time I called to Freeze my account ( because I can't workout in the mask). "They told me Don't worry your Account account will be frozen for the next 4, 5 months" due to covid-19 there is no charge for that ! ( that was in the end of November ) A minute ago ( 4/24/2021 @ 6:33 ) I get a call from my local Retro Fitness Ave Y Brooklyn. The lady tells me they send me to collection ! I asked her how come, She reply She doesn't want to talk to me, passed the phone directly to the manager ! SO DISSRESPECFULL !!! ( I am speechless waiting to the manager ) . The Manager pick up the phone in a very HEAVY ADDITUDE and in a disrespectful voice ASK ME WHO IS THIS !!! ( 0% MANNERS, FORGOT TO MENTION HIS NAME, DID'T MANTION THAT HE IS THE MANAGER ) He tells me that he send my account to collection. I am trying to explain him that my account was frozen for the past 5 months. I also Trying to explain him that I haven't gotten a PHONE CALL or EMAIL or MAIL stating that they are sending me to collection!. YOU CAN NOT SEND WHOEVER YOU WANT TO COLLECTION WITHOU TRYING TO TALK WITH THEM FIRST. IT IS ABSOLUTLY ILLIGAL TO DO SO! ( ESPEACIALLY WHAN MY ACCOUNT WAS FROZEN) I ask the manager to remove me from collection due to the fact that my account was on frozen mood all this time ( which mean I don't own the gym anything) He reply " We already send you to collection ". ( he basically intentionally send my account to collection and only after that bother calling ) I asked if there is anything we can do about that. Or if I can get the officinal letter u never bother to send from 4 months ago. He reply "you will get the latter from the collection company !!! THIS TOY manager attentionally scamming the member by sending to collection few months before speaking to the member ! The manager NAME : ADONIS. YOU CAN NOT SCAM your members like that. YOU CAN NOT destroy someone else credit history just because you file like ! there are lows you should follow . This Toy manager deserve to be fired !
