Theft and horrible customer service

I purchased movie tickets and when we got to the theater were told the show was cancelled and that my money was refunded. When I checked, my refund was never received. I called and was put on hold for over 30 minutes and took a callback. I had to jump through hoops to prove the show was cancelled and was told I couldn't have my full refund returned, they were keeping the convenience fee. Furthermore, I'm not the one who cancelled the theater is, so I should get the whole thing back, especially after all the hoops I had to jump through. User's recommendation: Buy your tickets from the theater right before the show.
