The corporate rule makes no sense

Update by user Sep 07, 2019 After a considerable amount of time, there has been no contact from easy spirit. Nothing done to resolve this conflict. Original review posted by user Aug 06, 2019 I ordered a pair of shoes last night at 10:06 PM (Their office closes at 10). I put in the discount code and mistakenly used 19 instead of 20 and proceeded to place the order. Today I noticed I didn’t get the discount so called customer service, expecting to get good service from what I thought was a good company. I spent 40 minutes on the phone. Here’s what I was told. You have one hour to make changes. (Remember, it was after 10 and I didn’t notice til today). The only alternative is to return shoes, and reorder them. I finally agreed, thought it was much easier to give a credit to my credit card, but no way. So I asked Alicia to reorder shoes now. To make a long story short, out of stock! So when I send shoes back, I can’t get same pair. I was transferred to Alicia’s supervisor, Candi, who told me same thing, basically sorry Charlie. After 40 minutes on the phone, I hung up. I have the name of the next supervisor, but think this is a matter for higher authority. No I have no criticism of the employees. They’re doing what they were told to do. But pretty awful rule. I don’t expect to do business with this company again.
