Top loading washer should be recalled as it is a manufactures' design flaw. Have been discussing this issue with GE for about 5 months now, with no satisfaction. The last straw was when I was forwarded to a Depot in Mexico. Not only did these people not know anything about Canada, but they also didn't know which cities were in which provinces. I will never again purchase any GE product. User's recommendation: Avoid any GE product.
