Terrible Car Buying Experience
2
Worst car buying experience EVER!!! I will not be buying a car from these folks ever again. I guess it was my mistake because the car was very dirty and they rushed me through signing of all documents before they showed me the car after they cleaned it. That is when I noticed multiple paint and rim issues and the Salesman told me that the defects were priced into the car price (yep, you read that right, the defects were priced into the car!!!). Well, I don't care how cheap the car is, I would have never bought the car with all the defects. Then many of the items that come standard with the car were missing, including the Cargo cover (which was in the car originally when I made the deal and then they removed it! and then lied about removing it saying that it was on another car they showed me. Well, they never showed me another car. They were straight out LYING!!), Missing First Aid Kit, Missing front console socket cover (a $20 item), Missing Mobility System, Missing Onboard Vehicle Tool Kit (which includes the tow ring!) and get this, No valve caps on the tires, YES VALVE CAPS. After complaining about these items, they would only provide the cargo cover, part of the grill which had a chip (Believe it or not, they asked if they could just ship the grill part to us and we could install it!) and then touch up the paint in one area, and that was only because we were going to cancel the deal. Yes, you read that correct, on a $31.5K CERTIFIED car, they refused to put $1 worth of plastic valve caps on the tires!! They replaced one of the gouged rims with a different marred up rim! Yes, replaced a bad rim with another bad rim!! The y took a paint pen to the scratches and you could see the pn marks on the car when they were done...they said it would blend...RIIIIIIIIIIGHT!! NOT!! And they refused to provide the tool kit with the tow hook. I can't believe they are allowed to sell a certified car without the original items that came with the car. So, moral of the story it to make them wash the car first so you cab see all defects and ask up front about all of the equipment that should come with the car, because once you sign those papers, you go through fire trying to get them to change anything, including providing small cheap items like $1 valve caps. Thank God that it was an AutoNation BMW and they had a 5 day return policy. We took the car back and bought another beautiful car from Ontario BMW that same day. Of course they tried to "make it right" once they saw I was returning the car, but after dealing with the Mr. NO, NO, NO, NO, NO Salesman, it left a very bad taste in my mouth and nothing they could do would resolve it. They need to fire this guy as his NO, NO, NO, NO, NO attitude cost them the sale. Returning the car took over 1 1/2 hours as the finance guy was at lunch! When I told them I had a doctor's appointment, they flat out said, well it takes a while and you can always take the car! NOT ON YOUR LIFE, I WON'T. And watch out when buying the extended warranty as it is a third party warranty, NOT a BMW warranty. Only found that out when I bought my other car and the other BMW looked at the paperwork. WATCH OUT FOR THESE FOLKS AS THEY WILL TRY TO TAKE YOU AT EVERY TURN!! User's recommendation: Do not buy here.
