I have only used this smoker maybe 4 times and today I was smoking a whole chicken and my pellet tray caught on fire and damaged my unit. I did some research and I guess this is a common problem. If mine just a defect or is this something that happens with all your smokers. It was only on 225 for 45 minutes before the hopper started smoking. I clean everything out Every single time I use it auger and all and re prime it every time. So Im not really sure what to do ?? Could it be mine is a defective unit??
