Steering wheel leather peeling

bought a 2011 Bentley cont. supersport. when I received the car found the steering wheel leather was all peeled. thought it was bad cleaner or hand lotion. Come to find out Bentleys with black interiors have this steering wheel problem. bad hides. My car has 16,000 miles on it. there is one for sale with 5000 mi. on it and peeling. another with 3500 mi. on it and peeling. don't you think if this was a problem Bentley would take care of this. recoverd my steering wheel with Ferrari leather . NOT CHEAP!
