a journalist, a retired editor of a newspaper published from NYC. One of the window of the bedroom was foggy and hence called Image Glass LLC of Monmouth County, NJ. Here is a run down of what happened: June 7, 2019- the workers came, measured the window and glass required and gave an estimate. Paid $150 in advance. They were to bring the window for installation within 3 to 4 weeks. July 17, 2019- one worker came with the window and while fixing it, pulled it very hardly. I was standing by the side and heard the sound. He broke the side hook/screw. Thus the window is now just for 'show' and we cannot slide it. Instead of apologizing for using extra force, he asked for $75 to get replace the part, which was working well all these years. Later asked for another $20 to get it urgently. After a number of emails between us, finally he told me that the company is too busy and could send me the part by mail and I could get it fixed by someone else. Since we needed to slide the window open, I agreed. By the way, when he first claimed to have mailed the part, I didn't receive it. When I asked him for postal tracking number, he sent the part with a tracking number that I received on September 3, 2019. Bottom line: If you have lots of time at hand to get your windows repaired and have extra cash to spend, use their services.
