I recently visited Blaze pizza for the first time in Spokane, WA and I have to say I was very disappointed. When I entered the restaurant the first thing I noticed was none of the employees had masks on. The girl I ordered from was visibly upset at having to make me a gluten free pizza and after waiting for close to 15 minutes I got a pizza that was so overcooked it was almost inedible. The most alarming thing was the lack of safety measures being taken. There were people eating inside and the patio was packed with people. What's more shocking is the fact that the Chipotle right next door was doing everything they could to keep themselves and patrons safe. All of their employees had masks on, the patio was closed, no refills on sodas, and no dine in eating. Why was Blaze exempt from these measures? The pizza was terrible as it was overcooked but I can look past that, the lack of safety measures has me very upset and concerned. I don't know what you can do to better educate your employees as to what is going on, cases are still on the rise, but I think something needs to be done. This will be my first and last visit and I only hope you can get these kids to care half as much as the gas station employee with a mask and gloves on who is right across the street. User's recommendation: Go to Chipotle next door.
