Apparently, I got slammed by these guys in 2014. I probably made the mistake of actually speaking to one of the door-to-door people, and once they had my gas account number... Yes, it's a nice "come on" price initially. I had no idea I was their customer and so never "re-upped" and they've been charging me top dollar ever since. For example, had I still been with my local default supplier's SCO, my last bill would have been at 4.3/mcf. Direct Energy charged me 10.2 (approx). I have a lock on my other utilities, apparently I forgot to lock my gas account. Just tired of slammers and having to be vigilant against fraudulent practices.
