I've revised this review due to the experiences I had after the pool was completed. Please see my other review of this company before making your decision to use Skyler Pools. Within a few months after the pool was completed we had several issues concerning the quality of the materials and sub contractors. Our first issue was a cracked spillway which we had to fight to get replaced. Our next issue was the Main Drain. This drain was not installed correctly leaving it not flush with the surface of the Diamond Brite. This also took several phone calls to get fixed. The next issue we had was the Deck. The sub contractor they used was by far not very good. While they did come back to fix some bad cuts I still have a cracked paver, which Bruce told me to mark for replacement. This is still marked and never replaced!! In addition to the paver issue my deck is now sinking. Their contract states they will backfill the pool in "lifts". This was not done and in return my deck is now sinking. When I contacted Bruce about this he told me that since I'm one month past the year warranty they gave me that it would cost me $250.00 to fix. Seriously... after a $37,000 pool you're going to charge me to fix this? This is where a good company will stand out from others that are there to only take your money which Skyler did. One last problem I have is the LED lighting. This was also installed improperly causing water to enter the fixture. Once again we were told we're one month past the warranty. When asked who built my pool, I tell them but encourage them to use Pool Builders or Parkwood. Future pool owners beware of Skyler. Less
