Update by user Mar 13, 2021 Complete, satisfactory resolution Original review posted by user Feb 11, 2021 About 2:30 PM I stopped for gas at the ARCO station at 1 Rollins Rd. in Burlingame, CA. I gave the cashier a $50 bill and carefully told him I wanted $40 worth of gas. He gave me two $5 bills in change. When I went to the pump, it stopped at $20. I went inside, and the cashier told me that he had given me $30 dollars in change. I insisted that I had given him $50, asked for $40 worth of gas, and received two $5 bills in change. I am certain that is what happened. Either ARCO or the cashier now has $20 that should rightfully be mine, not to mention the inconvenience of my only getting one-half tank of gas when I stopped to fill up. User's recommendation: Avoid this station if possible. If you must use it, use a credit card.
