Shady Business taking advantage of us

Buyer - beware of this store - Anny Lee Bride, Lakewood California They do not accept exchanges, will not grant refunds and/or will not issue store credits on ANY item you purchase – This policy is not posted anywhere in the store, nor do they inform you of it upon the purchase. I recently purchased an evening dress for myself and a tiara for my 10 year old daughter (as a birthday gift) which broke that very night While I was shopping for the dress, the sales lady was very nice and helpful and knew I was trying to decide between a dress from this store and one I purchased from Macy's. She told me that I could bring the dress back if I decided on keeping the dress from Macy's. One week later, I brought the dress back to Anny Lee and was told they will not give me a refund nor exchange the tiara. The sales lady would not help us called her manager, Paul, on his cell phone to have him speak to us. He said that he would not grant the refund and we could see him in court. They refused to speak with us after that and left us standing at the counter. The only option I have is to file a dispute with my credit card company. Please be careful, Reminder: they do not post their policy and they make you believe you can trust them as retailers. My advice, especially in these hard times, spend your money at a store you can trust.
