I write a lot of letters. Often (every two weeks) the sorting machine picks up on my address instead of the addressee's and it goes in an endless circle, between my address and the post office's. Our regular carrier, Scott, is outstanding. His subs often have neither the training nor the initiative to solve the issue. That involves crossing out codes, on the front and the back, and putting it in one of their envelopes if that doesn't work Instead, the letter keeps coming back — often as many as four times — the envelope gets damaged in the process, and the letter might never reach its destination. This happens randomly, and has happened for years. Sophie is the only supervisor there who showed good customer service. Gaby, Steve, and Jay have been anywhere from ineffective to obnoxious. I had three stamps on the last outgoing letter to experience this, which still hasn't arrived two weeks later. Lots of money for no service.
