Savon Flooring contracted in writing to use an "8" lb pad. A a 3lb or less sub-standard pad was installed.I was home on the day of the installation of the carpet and complained that the pad they were putting in looked like something the cat drug in! He insisted that his pad was the manufacturers recommended pad and "must" be used.After investigating and finding his fraud I called and he stated he would be out the next day to remove them both and fully refund me. I have taken him to the contractors License Board and I will file civil law suit, but check you carpet pad and contract! I doubt if he even put the type or wt of the pad on the contract, or the amt of pad and carpet sold! Just something like "ultimate pad"...Black market trash that he can buy for cheap and sell at retail prices.
