I inquired about spectrum TV to transfer from Direct TV. They quoted me a price. I told them I was under contract and I have a little less than two years with Direct TV $180.00. Spectrum told me they had a buy out program that I would get. So I thought it over and decided to go with them. I called back and told them "lets do it." We decided on a program and I went with it. Waiting for my buy out check or a credit on my account for several months I inquired about it. They told me I didn't qualify for the buy out because I chose a different package. They never told me that up front. I said, " why would I throw away $180.00 just to go with you?" So they stiffed me for $180.00. Their not going to pay me. . it. User's recommendation: Get everything in writing. Be aware they are not up front and they are not to be trusted.
