Sales Department Training Issues

2

I asked about why a wireless LIGHTSPEED gaming mouse that had LIGHTSPEED in its title did not have a tick next to it when comparing another mouse. Sales began to start spinning me a web of made-up knowledge that ended with them stating that LIGHTSPEED was in fact a standard in both Wireless and Wired technology. When challenged about this they told me that a wired mouse with LIGHTSPEED would function at greater response time than a mouse without LIGHTSPEED. I then asked them how this was the case using two Logitech mice (one with and one without LIGHTSPEED on a wired connection that clearly showed the same latency spec). I also then grabbed a quote from Logitech website that stated that LIGHTSPEED was a wireless technology and there was no evidence to support any of this being a wired tech (which I'd previously know). I've had major issues with Logitech support, website and sales, although I can only speak highly of their products. User's recommendation: Do not contact Logitech for anything, deal with 3rd parties and 3rd support as you'll just lose the will to live.
