Rotted Marvin clad casemaster windows

Update by user Jun 29, 2011 Marvin Windows Original review posted by user Jun 29, 2011 I built a new home in 2004 and put Marvin Clad Casemaster windows in my home. They were wood inside and aluminum clad outside. I rarely open the windows due to allergies, but had occasion to do so a couple of days ago. I found the wood rotted and closer pulled out of the wood. I got a contractor to look at the window, in fact we checked all the windows. The bottom of the window was rotted in most of the windows. The contractor told me that it was caused by failure of the seals. I contacted Marvin today 6/29/11 and the are sending a technician out to look at the windows. I will post the results of the technician's examination and what Marvin is willing to do.
