Root of the earth bowl

2

I think that Viva Terra has some rather unique merchandise and that's what attracted me, but I won't purchase from them again. I bought a very lovely wooden bowl mid Septemember last year. It has sat on a table empty for several months---it was away from heat and cold and isn't "played" with. Yesterday, I noticed a huge fissure/crack in the bowl. Considering that this is obviously either a design flaw or an issue with the materials, I asked to either have it replaced or get my money back. Naturally I got the standard customer service email that says---"sorry it's over 30 days" so too bad. What bothers me isn't even so much the cash--though it was fairly expensive to have lasted only a few months---it was the utter lack of understanding that this was a bigger issue and that perhaps they should look at the overall quality assurance to make sure that they don't have other complaints. If they don't care about what they sell, then I won't care to purchase anything from them again.
