i wanted to buy something using google pay. the website outright lists google play balance as a valid form of payment. so i go and buy 100 dollar gift card (i have store credit). add it to it. then i go and try to buy something with google pay AND NO SIGN AT ALL OF THE WALLET BALANCE. i know am out 100 dollars and have nothing what so ever i can spend that 100 on (no android devices or wearables no wish to buy movies tv's or books). they completely misled what can be used to pay google pay with. picture on left proves that they lie and say it's a valid payment. picture on the right shows the ACTUAL valid payment forms. User's recommendation: if you have to use it then fine but do not expect to use google play balance.
