We went to see a time share and we were promised a trip for four three days and two nights plus airfare to Orlando WITH theme park tickets. We first had to send in a $100 deposit by mail. Then we had to send in $240 in taxes. We were not allowed to pick any dates. We were allowed to give three selection of dates. All of these had to be thirty days apart and they were all in during school time. They then call us to set the trip up. We could not pay anymore but if we do this then we would leave at 3 PM in the afternoon from Dallas and have two layovers, one in Baltimore the next in Atlanta and arrive around Midnight. We would then have one day to do whatever we wanted and then the next day leave at 6 AM and have the same two stops for an 8 hour trip. We could pay to upgrade for $89 a person and $65 a night. The first hotel was going to be a 1 star hotel such as the Rodeway Inn. They stated the upgraded hotel would be a three star hotel, Champion World Resort. If we upgraded then the flight was a non stop flight. They asked which park we wanted to go to and which day. We decided to upgrade. After we gave our credit card information, we were called and informed that the parks were not included in our package. Three different people told us that they were. On top of that the $89 fee for the ticket was the same price that Spirit was charging with the taxes for the airfare. The hotel is a two star hotel for $52 a night. So we our could have booked this trip on our own for our dates that we wanted to for $340 cheaper. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME OR YOUR MONEY!!! I honestly would not have complained had I received my free tickets to the theme park that we were supposed to get. The trip is scheduled for this Saturday.
