Resolved: Trying to sell a Car in UK (imported) written off in Australia

Update by user May 14, 2018 ad removed Original review posted by user May 11, 2018 Trying to sell a BMW X3 that was written off in Australia without telling that it was imported and written off. It has been in UK since Sep 2016 My post on pistonheads: I was interested in buying a used BMW from a UK dealer which I found was imported from Australia. I was interested because its a petrol version which is not available in UK. The dealer didn't even tell me it was an import but I know because petrol version was not in UK Market, found some clues from options list that its from AUS. Contacted BMW UK/AUS - got response from BMW AUS confirming it last serviced in March 2016 in Australia It was imported to UK and first registered with DVLA Sep 2016 Since been in UK Sep 2016 - It passed MOT twice I got a autocheck report - all fine with some warnings about Imported, Plate change. And did a PPSR report from http://www.ppsr.gov.au - this opened my eyes, the vehicle was written off just before coming into UK extract here: NEVDIS Written-off Vehicle Notification: NSW, 22 Apr 2016, Statutory Write-off http://www.rms.nsw.gov.au/roads/registration/get-n... So why is dealer allowed to sell in UK without disclosing about the import and Write-of??
