Update by user Oct 14, 2020 Company fixed the issue and I have been provided with settlement agreement. Original review posted by user Sep 14, 2020 I called Sedgwick on September 4th and I was told that I could use short term disability because my father was dying. He passed away and I thought that it was best for me to return to work quickly. Now Sedgwick says that I'm not approved for short term disability because I was only off of work for 4 days and they won't approve it until you've been off of work for 7 or more days. I was never told this. So now after my dad died last week, I'm probably going to be fired thanks to Sedgwick. User's recommendation: Be extremely cautious when dealing with them. They aren't honest at all!!!!!
