Slomin's sold us a lifetime warranty on a hot water heater, and when it broke, their response is our wait time for replacement is 2 weeks. I explained I am going for surgery, and need it sooner, and their response was that was their wait time, jeopardizing hot water and sterilization post surgery. Obviously they have no problem accepting payment, just an issue with delivering goods, A private plumber would have had the unit replaced in a week, but since we had paid for the warranty, we had hoped they would honor it in a reasonable time frame, given the circumstances. Please note, there was no hot water issues prior to the Slomin's representative coming in to deliver service to a heating issue, which is another conversation in itself. Buyers beware!
