Resolved: Carfax ignoring my request not responding to my complaint

Update by user Jul 28, 2020 They corrected the information that was reported wrong on my Carfax so the issue was resolved. Original review posted by user Jun 27, 2020 Carfax affects the value of a vehicle and if something is reported on there that is inaccurate it is almost near impossible to get it changed this is extremely unfair to the consumer who has no recourse when Carfax won't even respond to the emails and their dispute form. Due to Carfax inaccurate information they have reported about my vehicle it is affecting me financially by about $5,000... I sent them police reports repair shop reports and photographs supporting my claim it has been over three months now with no response from Carfax. This company has way too much unchecked power that affects consumers everyday and it's completely unfair that you cannot verbally speak to another human being at Carfax to get answers and resolution to issues. User's recommendation: Carfax has all power over the value of your vehicle in the consumer has no power the consumer has no recourse you're screwed.
