This is not a complaint! Actually it is a request for your help. I am a 76 year old gentleman (I use the term as a general description). Here is my tale of woe. I served 7 years in the Military, 4 years of it overseas. I later became a Police Officer, attaining the rank of Lt. Detective. I was injured off duty, and was unable to perform my duties, or return to work. Because it was an off-duty injury, I was not compensated for my 25 years of service, and released from duty. Long story short, my wife and I now live on our SS payments, which are less than $1800/a month. We literally live on a shoestring ($720.00/month for medical insurance alone!). I have had 3 Heart surgeries, including a triple bypass. My point is only to describe our inability to spend any extra money. Many years ago my wife gave me one of your electric shavers. It was the first I had ever had or used! It was a Norelco #5810 XL. I have used it for many years, which means every day. It as served me well, but unfortunately has reached the point where the circular blades have become really dull. I have to clean the heads every time I use it, but even then I find myself having to use it twice a day in order to look clean shaven.
