I took my car to the dealership today. The dealer said you have a transmission problem. Carchex said they we send and inspector out within 48 hours . I have to leave my car at the dealership. What am I supposed to drive until my car is inspected and fixed? Carchex told me to put my thumb out. This company is horrible. I am sorry I signed up with them. When they are selling you the policy they tell you everything is covered even rentals . But you car must malfunction on a Monday , you must leave in an area with 24 hr public transportation. This being a perfect world the inspector will come out one hour after the repair shop calls and you will get your car back the same day, without needing a car to drive while your car is being repaired. But not a perfect world my car went in today. Inspector can show up within 48 hours I do not leave somewhere there is 24 hour safe transportation. So I will have to pay for my own rental.
