Rental booking reimbursement takes ages

I have booked a car and plan a trip to Europe, my united flight got cancel and had to reschedule the trip to the next day, Called the 3rd party rental car and cancel the booking and got a new booking for the next day. The whole trip went well no issue. Once I got back I noticed that the 1st booking got charged completely and after contacting the support email and reaching out by phone the operator, I still wait more than a month to receive my money back. Totally impossible to have someone from the support to respond. Very disappointing and waited this long before writing this complaint Let me know if this help
