Renewal of nri deposit, matured in 2018

I am having NRI deposit account with Axis Bank, Kodambakkam branch, Chennai. It was matured in 2018 and supposed to be renewed automatically. I visited the branch in Oct 2019 for the renewal. The branch said that I should fill up an application and submit the copy of Pan Card, Pass Port copy. I have handed over the documents and followed up the branch since then Oct2019. The branch has not renewed the deposit receipt till date and the operation manager says that he has no authority to renew the deposit and needed the permission from the higher authority. I posted my complaint in the Grievance cell and contacted NRI division for help. No result. I regret to have my account with Axis Bank. I need help in this regard.
