Refusal to allow repairs

I was denied repair of my car because of preexisting conditions.according to carchex,the damage to my car existed before i purchased the warranty.I am not a mechanic so i didn't know.The reason i purchased the warranty was to protect me against any preexisting confitions.You don't know if rocker arms are going bad unless you get under the car and examine them.
