The last 3 pairs of Red wing black work boots that I've purchased they all had the same issues which is the rubber sole is seperating from the boot. These are not cheap and to get not even 6 months out of them is totally unexceptionable. In my husband's shop we have it mandatory the our employees wear Red wing boots cause we believed in them for so long. We've never had a issue until recently with the last 3 pair.
